fly fishing in middle Tennessee this spring has been great! We have had many great trips with lots of fish hitting the nets. From tail water trout fishing to small stream freestone smallmouth it has all been very good . We are slowly transitioning from spring to summer. Our hatches have mainly been cassis with mayfly’s being seen from time to time as well. Cicadas are here as well and should be a great fly choice here as we go from mid May to June as all species of fish target these big meals. There are plenty of great dates available for the month of June coming up so be sure to contact me and we’ll get out on some of Tennessee most beautiful river to fish!
